Greetings! I'm LT and yes, I am an ordained reverend. But that's just a small part of who I am and what I do.
The late, great Sylvia Plath once said, "kiss me, and you'll see how important I am". Considering I don't go around kissing everyone who visits my website, I'll just have to tell you about me.
I am a senior in the field of Electronic Media, gearing up to break out into the world of mass media. For the past 4 years, this has consumed my life. I started as a feature reporter for Texas State University's radio station, KTSW 89.9 FM, and gradually worked my way all the way up to the top to serve a stint as the station's student manager. My day-to-day routine was hardly a routine at all. At any given time, you could find me in the studio hosting my daily drive-time show, Other Side Drive, or serving as the producer for in-studio artist sessions and interviews; I could be in the production studio laying down some tracks for station promos or simply sitting at my desk talking about the latest "it" bands with my coworkers. Now, most of my work for KTSW is done out of the office, serving as the Sales Executive to bring in some cheddar for the station that has done so much for me-- including providing me with the skills necessary to land an internship at a commercial radio group in Austin, TX. Some may say I sold out, but in this field, everyone comes with a price.
When I'm not working in radio, you can find me at a local hang out, relaxing with good friends and great brews. I'm an avid painter, runner, and yoga...er? I love to cook, discover new music, watch documentary style TV, get lost in a great book, and constantly experience new things. I curse like a sailor and I don't eat red meat, but all-in-all, I like to think I'm a good person who really just wants to make a difference.
Then again, don't we all?
